Your fonts, finally in order.

A font manager for Mac and Windows, made for designers who work in Hebrew and Latin. Browse, organize, identify and clean up every font you own.

Typeshelf runs on Mac and Windows computers. Open this page there to download it.

Version 1.5.6. Free. The first time you open it, your computer asks you to confirm — here’s how.

See it in under a minute.

A client sends a flyer and asks what the font is. You need English that matches a Hebrew logo. Your font folder holds three copies of everything.

The film shows how Typeshelf handles each one.

Name the font in any screenshot.

Drop or paste an image, box one line and type what it says. Typeshelf draws those words in every font you own and shows the closest matches side by side, right on your computer. Nothing is uploaded.

The Identify window: a Hebrew screenshot with one line boxed, and Fb Louisa Bold found as a strong match, drawn next to the sample.

Find English that fits your Hebrew.

Pick any font and ask for similar ones, in Hebrew or in Latin. Typeshelf compares weight, contrast, width, slant and hand-drawn feel, so a Hebrew logo font gets Latin partners that look like family.

Find Similar for Fb Absoluti Heb Black, showing Latin fonts with a similar style: Clash Grotesk, Bungee, Franklin Gothic Heavy and others.

Clean up years of downloads.

Duplicates lists every copy of a font with its folder, version and date, and says which copies are identical files. Keep one and send the rest to the Trash. Tags, favorites and collections move to the copy you keep.

The Duplicates screen: each font with its copies, folders, versions and dates, one copy marked Keep.

And the everyday things, done properly.

The Typeshelf library: Hebrew fonts previewed in their own script, with tags, collections and the font details panel.
